Calling all retired members!

Our club is facing a significant change with regard to the operation of our Fás scheme and we are now down to the last Fás employee. It has proven very difficult to find suitably qualified persons to fill the vacancies on our scheme!

We have for some time been exploring the implementation of a ‘Men’s Shed’ in our club in order that our retired members especially could maintain a worthwhile connection with the club! We are now seeking to explore the viability of a Men’s Shed group to assist with routine maintenance along with developing the ‘Men’s Shed’ concept!

We have organised an informative get together in the club on Wednesday morning next at 10am

This will not be confined to members only either and family and friends of members will be most welcome! Finally, whilst the ‘Men’s Shed’ is a popular and active concept we are also open to extending this to all genders and are open to any suggestions!

Tea, coffees and refreshments will be available for what will be an informal chat.
