Tonight Friday  May 9th at 8pm we will host a commemorative event to celebrate the life of the late Dr. Jim Young.
‘The Doc’ as he was affectionately known was one of our greatest hurlers and administrators who gave so much to Glen Rovers over his lifetime.
We are grateful to Diarmuid O’Donovan who will be presenting a talk on the life of ‘The Doc’ which is fascinating in many respects.
We are delighted that many members of the Young family will be present to join us for what promises to be a wonderful evening.
Paul Young will be presenting the club with one of his father’s cherished memento’s from his storied hurling career.
